Join us on a walk along the Sausalito-Mill Valley Path in Marin County to observe resident birds including raptors, pelicans, and other waterfowl in addition to a variety of migratory species. We will take an easy, approximately 5 mile route starting next to The Junction Beer Garden, north through Bothin Marsh Preserve and around Pickleweed Inlet to Bayfront Meadow. Check out the full walking route here! To make a day of it, grab a coffee beforehand at Equator or Coyote Coffee, enjoy brunch afterwards at Hook Fish Co. or Shoreline Cafe, and finish out the day in The Junction Beer Garden. Birders and nature enthusiasts of all levels are welcome! The group will be led by amateur birders and we will do our best to help identify our local avian friends. Please bring water, your face mask, and binoculars if you have them. If you are new to birding, a great app to download beforehand is the Merlin Bird ID app from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
