We’re to so excited to share our Fall hiking series with you! Each month, we’ll pick a new and increasingly challenging — yet breathtaking — Bay Area trail to trek together. Our first hike will be through Land’s End, a rocky windswept coastal trail with stunning views of the Pacific and Golden Gate Bridge. This easy 2.6 mile hike is mostly dirt trails with a few steep climbs. Families (and dogs) are welcome! There will be an option to extend the hike to 6.6 miles! Sign up here.
Hike Duration: Approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes
Difficulty: Easy to moderate
Weather: Mostly sunny, but hey, this is San Francisco: Be prepared for fog and wind. That means layers for all of those recent San Franciscans. We recommend bringing a light jacket, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Hiking shoes are not necessary.
FYI: This hike is only partly accessible to strollers and wheelchairs.
Logistics:
9:45am: We’ll meet at La Promendade Cafe in the Outer Richmond, walk 2.6 miles, passing sweeping views of Cliff House, Sutro Baths, and Lands End Labyrinth before ending at the Legion of Honor Museum at 11am
