BCGSF Info Session

Want to have a positive impact on San Francisco, East Bay, and North Bay Brown alumni while making new connections and having a great time? Apply to join the Board!

The Brown Club of Greater San Francisco Board is excited to open applications for new members as event programming volunteers and board members! Help foster alumni connections of all classes by planning events and activities throughout the year. Board members meet virtually on the first Monday of every month and plan events as a group. Volunteer members are expected to plan at least one event per year for us.

Each year we program 30 in person and virtual events for alums: our events have attracted alumni from Class Years 1953 through 2024, graduate and undergraduate. We've hosted authors for book discussions, went bird watching, enjoyed wine, conversation and the opera, hiked San Fransico's Crosstown Trail, Mt. Diablo, and Oakland's urban stairwells, BBQ’d in Golden Gate Park, and much, much more!

We need you to help make things even better for Brown alums in Greater San Francisco! What events should we do again? What programs are we missing?

We are hosting a Q&A for joining the Board on Zoom on Monday, June 2nd at 6 PM. If you are interested you can apply to join the board here and we’ll send the info session information or if you’d rather attend the info session first shoot us a reply to this email!

Visit our website to learn more about the board and some of of our past events. Our meetings rotate between in person in San Francisco and Oakland and Zoom.

We look forward to seeing you at the info session on June 2nd...
