(Waitlist Only) PANEL DISCUSSION ON HOMELESSNESS IN THE BAY AREA: ALUMNI RESPOND

  • 333 Market Street 3rd Floor San Francisco, CA United States (map)

Often cited as our area's number one civic concern, homelessness in the Bay Area continues to rise: statistics from the San Francisco Chronicle as part of their Chronicle Homelessness Initiative reported that city agencies identified about "18,000 individuals as homeless" in 2018. The region saw upticks of 17% in San Francisco County and 43% in Alameda County this year alone. What is not so visible is what governmental and community leaders are doing to face the issue. Come join the conversation on homelessness in the Bay Area, led by alums who have longstanding experience dealing with our unsheltered communities. Bring your questions and find out what you can do to help. Q and A to follow. More information here.
