Brown Alumni Program (ACAP) Counselor Rebecca Bliss '92 comes to San Francisco!

Do you and your kids need help navigating the current college admission landscape? Did you know Brown has a FREE college advising program that can help your kids navigate the college search process, in addition to helping them find schools that are good fits?

Join Rebecca Bliss ’92, counselor with the Alumni College Advising Program (ACAP), to learn about this service which offers free college advising to the children of Brown alumni, regardless of where students choose to apply. She will give an update of today's admission landscape, and will be available to answer questions.

Hawlan Ng, PsyD '93 is a licensed clinical psychologist in San Francisco. He will moderate this event and talk with Rebecca and the audience about the stress of the college admissions process and how to manage it more effectively.

We welcome your questions! Send your questions for Rebecca beforehand to Hawlan at drhawlanng@gmail.com. Hawlan will present selected questions at the event. There will be time for live questions as well.

About Rebecca
Rebecca has worked in higher education since graduating from Brown in 1992. After completing her graduate degree at Stanford University in 1994, Rebecca served as a freshman dean at Georgetown University, the associate director of foundation programs and an admission reader at Dartmouth College, the sophomore and junior class dean at Dickinson College and, more recently, an external application reader for the Carleton College Admission Office. Additionally, Rebecca worked for the Corporation for National and Community Service in Washington, D.C., overseeing a portfolio of higher education grants and conducting site visits to dozens of colleges and universities around the country. Rebecca joined the ACAP team in September 2015.
